coullstar 0 Posted November 6, 2004 Ive managed to pick up a 3 slat grill. What is the best way to fit it to the early cars as none of the clips line up?

Pau1 0 Posted November 6, 2004 Na, chop the bottom lugs off then drill two pilot holes inline with your slots at the bottom then screw in 1 1/4" self tappers into the grill from the bottom. Not all the way and leave them sticking out. Sounds rough but you cant see them. Basicly the two screws on the bottom act as the lugs would.
coullstar 0 Posted November 7, 2004 Bonded some new tabs on and fitted it today. Is there anyway to make the grill sit a bit further in as I dont like how it sticks out?
