9a spark plugs

Recommended Posts

I just went and bought some plugs for the new car from a motor factor and I noticed they were the same ones for my 1.8. This is kinda what I expected but after checking GSF and some other website it seems the 2l and 1.8 are different.

Is this the case? The ones I have are NGK BP7ET (i think). Are they ok?

BCP7ET is listed in ETKA for the KR. BKUR7ET is for the 9A. These are down as longlife plugs. The 7 is the heat rating and the ET means triple electrode. The prefix I am not sure about but is probably just different materials or something. I think they'll be OK.

Anybody else know? The main difference from what I can find out is to do with surface discharge against insulated dicharge or something like that.
