brake lights problem URGENT!

i have no brake lights, ie (not working) bulbs ok,assembly ok,shook the wires about, is there a fuse for the brake lights, it's not on my corrado, its on my golf(tdi) 2000, anyone any ideas as to what it is,

the corrado has a fuse for this and i would imagine the golf would too

have you checked the switch on the pedal

thanks , i did'nt know there was one, they started going again all of a sudden, bad connection somewhere, will check out the switch on the pedal.
