coolrado 0 Posted November 25, 2004 it seems this crappy weather and the salt being spread on the roads at the moment is making a real mess of my rm rims  i am having to wash them every other day at the moment anybody know of a product that i can coat them with to stop the salt damaging them? i dont mind if the coating looks bad as long as it protects the ally and can be removed when the weather improves

coolrado 0 Posted November 25, 2004 yep i just checked it comes in a paste and liquid, i have a tin of the liquid stuff allready but only thought it was for polishing them up initially i will spend a bit of time cleaning and polishing them up (again) this weekend, do you think a thin layer of waxoyl applied with a cloth would protect them i allways thought the difficult part of keeping bbs rims clean was the spokey bits how wrong i was
