Corrado 2L 16V fuel pump problems

Recommended Posts

any ideas out there? This morning i was driving the car andit just lost power. I got the AA who told me that it may be the fuel pump. When i try to start the car it cranks but does not fire. Last week same problem, changd the fuel pump relay and car started. It is still working as there is power coming to the fuse. I have just ordered a pump from Euro car parts for £85 + vat. i ralise there is another pump when u open the boot. Does anyone know what it entails to change the pump under the car. What presssure is the 16v pmup supposssed to be.

Thanks in advance

change your ignition switch...

This sounds exactly like the fault I had with mine which turned out to be the switch... about £20 from VAG and there's details on how to change it in the how-to guides (see link top right of every page) 8)
