Pap I think I might have been done by a camera van

Big white speed camera van on the main dual carriage way from carlisle to Glasgow. It was raining but I seen it mega early, and slowed hard from 90 to 70mph, I was then travelling at 70mph for about 30 secs before I passed underniether the flyover that it was parked on.

 

My mate then informed me that they have a range of a mile, which has put the sh1ts up me.... f*ck.

 

How long does it take to find out? is there anyway I can check to see if I have been caught or not?

My number plate was filthy too so hopefully it couldnt get a proper reading at range :?

I have had just a few points before (over 18 in total since introduced) and it has taken up to 3 weeks before i heard anything, it's a long wait an even worse when they come through.
