HELP - Temperature light flashing! first time for a year

coolant gets hotter. oil should match it up to about 160 F once oil is hotter than engine with a stock thermo it should be about 10-15 degrees above coolant. replace your black sender unit

Come to think of it, where is the feed to the water temperature gauge? Is it from the yellow sensor, or is there another one somewhere?
