GIXXERUK 0 Posted January 29, 2005 if it is a thatcham approved then you can buy a copy of the certificate, last time i heard they were £25 tho see what they say mate but direct line would not insure me until they received the certificate
VW ASSASSIN 0 Posted January 30, 2005 So where can i buy it from mate? This alarm was fitted by the previous owner
GIXXERUK 0 Posted January 31, 2005 you need to contact the alarm manufacturer or if you know who installed it then contact them
Scott16v 0 Posted January 31, 2005 I think you can only get a valid insurance approved certificate if its installed by and approved fitter as this certifies it was fiited correctly and works as it should? If it was fitted "DIY" be the prevours owner there would never have been a certificate? May be wrong though???
