Jimjam 0 Posted January 30, 2005 They're in Rushington, near Southampton - on the same industrial park as GSF. Has anybady used them and, if so, are they any good? If not, are there any other decent places near Southampton to get the car serviced? Also, browsing ETKA I came across what appears to be a flashing door pin surround (like you get on newer VWs). Can anyone confirm whether these were ever available at all? US market, perhaps? Part no is 535 919 238. Ta.

Not too sure, but I'd assumed so - perhaps somebody else can confirm this. If they're still available you can probably fit them if you're prepared to run some wiring through the doors to them. Jimjam 0 Posted February 2, 2005 I've already got wiring in place - I bought some off ebay, but they were appalling. I left the wiring there in case I ever bought some more. I might drop into the dealer to see if they can source these.

Had a pretty awesome number plate aswell 'HAD 16V' Didn't it initially have a supercharger as part of the conversion, but was later removed? This is going back a few years though.. Autotechnik definitely get my recommendation anyway. Always happy to give useful, free advice. Cheers Steve

It initially had a supercharger on it, but he sold the car to one of the mechanics at Autotechnik who then proceeded to sell all the best parts from it ie. charger, custom leather recaro trim, rallye front etc etc.
