Ceiling

My ceiling (without sunroof) need to be fix. His cloth is “hanging” and it’s “frazzle” in some places.

Can somebody give me idea how to fix it? To change the cloth with new? With leather (think about red leather)?

A20LEE and Cheesy have both had their roof cloth (that's what the Ceiling is called) remade in a different fabric. It's quite expensive to do if you use leather because it's so big.

 

It's not very difficult to get the old one out, but you need to be careful. I think that once the cloth starts to hang down away from the backing, you can't fix it, you will need to replace it. :|

I think about - to buy another ceiling (from other C) to “upholster” him– and after that to replace it with mine.

But I’m not decided with what to “upholster”. Any other variant expect leather and cloth? Anything new and modern ? Any folio for this purpose… ?

alcantara looks good... (it's kind of like suede looking material)

I've just had my roof retrimmed, in black. I took the roof lining out myself, to save on cost. It only cost £80. It looks standard apart from being black. The thing with roof lining retrimming is it's a job for the pro's, and not the sort of thing that most people can do themselves.
