Help me wire my power Recaros

Recommended Posts

Hello from Canada. It's been a while since I was on here last.

Over the last month or so I imported black leather power Recaros from Germany. With the seats came all the OEM harnesses for the both the heated function and the electric motors. I'd like to use the existing wiring, and I'm sure that somewhere the harness can plug into the fuse area. Butr after looking at that rat's nest of wiring, I have no idea where the lead and the ground plug into.

Can you guys help me out... I came up empty with the Corrado Club of Canada, and American Corrados never got Recaros...

Hi Chimo!

Do you happen to know if your seats and wiring are old or new model Recaros?

power recaro's 8)

i fitted a heated loom a couple of weeks back, i worked out exactly where the connections went using the bentley, pulled the fuse box and thought ---NO WAY

so i just wired it in, one wire is an ignition controlled live and the other links to the dash illumination

but you've got the motors aswell :p

oh yeah on the uk models the relays for the heated loom go into the rear passenger quarter panel (this could be the drivers side on yours :-) , theres an earthing point in there

I think they're from a G60, I didn't know there was any difference...

I need not the heated harness hook up, Canadian Corrados all had heated seats, mine just simply plugged in, thanks though... I'll take a pic...

Man flashes makes leather look bad.
