hole in the head

Could not believe it, thought it was not idling right, someone has drilled a cole hear the filler cap on the front face - 4/5mm dia - no oil leaking from there - would this affect idling?

if you are talking about the hole in the rocker cover ? its ment to be there as its an overflow hole if you were to spill any oil when topping up
