Henny 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Pros - you can get slightly more air through the throttle body meaning a slight power increase cons - you're left with 2 holes in one of the butterflies... :| :roll: (these would need filling, or the butterfly replacing with one without the holes - 16Vs have these ;) ) - you may find that the initial throttle response when tooling around in traffic is a bit viscious... :| What ever you do, be careful if you're gonna mess about with it... the screws that hold it on are quite soft and can become stressed if you mess with 'em.... one of those is what broke off and came through into my engine damaging a piston costing me well over £600! :| (and that's with ME doing the labour!) VEEDUBBED 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Be carfull because the small screws are NOT designed to be removed 'cos their peened in with a special press meaning that you may well be able to loosen the screws but by doing so you stand a good chance of buggerin up the throttle shaft's thread...
