bennyd 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Hi all, I purchased my second corrado over the christmas (a nice present to myself). First one was a '92 1.8 16v, this one is a '91 G60, sweet :D I have noticed that the oil pressure switch on the right side of the block that feeds oil to the charger (I think its a pressure switch) has only one wire connected to it, a blue/black wire. I think I have found the matching wire, a black one, but it is very dirty and looks like it wasn't connected for a long time. The charger was service by Jabba Sport 4k mls ago and it has a braided hose going to the charger. Does anyone know if it is OK to leave everything as it is, ie only one wire going to the pressure switch? p.s. great site
Henny 0 Posted March 23, 2005 there should only be one wire (the Blue/Black one) connected to the oil pressure sensor. The sensor simply allows the wire to connect to the block if there's a pressure problem which completes the circuit and alerts you to the problem... 8)
