DaveStorm 0 Posted March 31, 2005 Found a tub of the stuff hidden away in my garage, can't remember when I bought it so should I consider using it to try and spruce up the paintwork or is this not recommended and should I just bin it?

20v turbo 0 Posted March 31, 2005 if its just for polishing fine scratches out use G6 or G10,the G3 might be a bit harsh.
DaveStorm 0 Posted March 31, 2005 It has a couple of cat scratches on bonnet and roof (feckin horrible creatures) and also odd stone chips along the lower half of the bodywork that I've used touch up paint on, this shows up quite a bit depending on the light (in my critical eyes). I'm not after a show car, just wondered if the G3 would help, followed by a thoroughly good polish, to make it look better? But is there a chance it'll remove the laquer? Furkz 0 Posted March 31, 2005 yeah use zymol cleaner wax on it 1st might do the job if not def use it after using the G3......good results
marcus 0 Posted April 1, 2005 Mmmm must go bit careful on the darker colours bud. just try a bit of metallic t-cut first, Give it a few individual 'rub ons then rub offs'. G3 wil be ok with the right ammount of water, it's just that you may leave heavy looking swirls in darker paint. f they are pure white scratches then no compound or wax etc will remove them.
