rug 0 Posted April 4, 2005 I'm about to block off the boost return, and I would at the same time like to get a catch tank. I have searched, and from what I understand most of you guys just attach the catchtank to the breather, and then a filter on the catchtank. I have also read in a few places that having the breather connected to the intake creates a slight vacuum in the engine which is good. So, for example, I get the Mocal catch tank, can I connect one connection to the breather, and the other to a connection on the block off plate (I've seen this on a few block of plates). Would this filter the nasty oil from getting back in the intake and at the same time create this little suction I want? Is my idea faulty? :) Overbuilt? Not needed? Inspection here does not like venting the crankcase either, so that's another reason I'd like to get "filtered" breather air back into the intake. /Carl
