karman anniversary

I was out in Germany 3 weeks ago at the Karman factory in Osnabruck delivering the new Bentley convertible and met the man responsible for development of the Rado,Boy was i chuffed, Had a really good chat with him and found out a couple of thing's that might be of interest.

 

1.Karman built a convertible Rado but VW did'nt like it.

 

2.They're celebrating 100 years of Karman-Ghia this year but i dont have anymore details.but i do know that people are going from all over europe/world.

So you actually spoke to Herbert Schäfer, that's pretty cool :-)

 

Despite the anniversary of the Karmann Ghia, they're not too much in a party mood at Karmann, as I mentioned here.
