pp137 0 Posted May 4, 2005 Hi everyone, my car has been acting up recently, the brakes have ceased to work and when i try to brake the pedal sometimes hits the floor without much effect. The brakes sometimes are o.k and then they go really bad, i had someone look at it and he suggested it is the Master cylinder. The brake system has been bled but still no improvement also he said that the back brakes had no fluid going to them and that the servo pipe or servo was gone??? How much does a new MC cost and is it hard to fit in>?? Does anyone know of a place where i can get my car fully checked out for cheap, i stupidly phoned the dealership and they said £174 (plus a Vodka and Tonic (VAT)). I don't want to spend that much just to have the car checked out lol. I could half the problems with that money!!!!
