VW logic alarm

Recommended Posts

Picked my Highline up tonight and there is no certificate of having the alarm fitted. The key fob has Conlog on the back and the previous owner said his insurance accepted that the Highlines have a CAT1 fitted as standard. Is this true? If so then what kind is it?

I am not covered for theft otherwise.

reckon it'll be the same as mine..........a conlog logic 500.............some companies will accept it but it is afterall a near 10yo system so must be pretty close to obsolete by now

Better bloody do. Going to have to spend a few pennies getting the car to what it should be like and dont need this to add to the list.

The highline would have a chip in the key, as per a cat 2 immobiliser. That should be enough to get theft cover.
