surfer.vr6 0 Posted May 9, 2005 i have just repaired a scrape on my n/s/f bumper at the weekend with a twin pack aerosol bought from a stealer, so there shouldnt be any problems with colour matching completed the job great, only problem colour is completely different to rest of car is there more than one shade of aqua blue? Supercharged 2 Posted May 9, 2005 Errr... are you sure yours is Aqua?? - does the code on the can match the one on your rear panel? Maybe the paint is out of date...

Supercharged 2 Posted May 9, 2005 Hmmm - how old is the paint as I tried to get some about a year ago and was told it was obselete... Maybe best to go to a bodyshop who can match the colour to the car, I can't remember what the technology is called but the basically scan your paint and the computer matches it, great for older cars and alot of places do it now... Cnut 0 Posted May 9, 2005 It probably shows up where the original paint has dulled to a certain extent over the years?
