4x4 haldex corrado

I too have a complete mk4 golf 4 motion which i will break in the next couple off months, this 4x4 thread is very intresting are there any specialist out there that do this 4x4 conversion on a corrado

If it's the same VR6 T off the other forums, yes he is! he must, he's got a stonking Rallye VR6 turbo already, it's a beast.

 

As far as I'm aware, only dubsport are offering 4wd conversions, but they make a hack job of it from what I've seen and charge a fortune for the piviledge too.

 

Designa dubs can do them too, but they are bit far away from you...

I heard that Dubsport quote something like £5-5.5k to do the conversion! .... :cuckoo:

how much did you pay for the floor mods on yours?

 

Paid £250 for rallye floorpan.

 

Paid £750 for the labour.

 

So £1k for the conversion, only took 7 months to do back in 2002 :wink:

 

That was at Awesome Gti btw, but they said they would never do one again!!!

he's up our way.

 

dontt hink he has a corrado tho, know he's away to build summat else... but not a corrado :)

 

he usually spells his user name VR6T too i think. most folk never change how the spell there user names.

I wouldn't do it for less than £2000.

dubsport have just completed a full S3 running gear transplant into a MK2 i heard. Was ment to be a Inters but car was still with the painters.

Its actually a 1.9 and I undestand the power is hoped to be circa 500 bhp

mark told me about that. customer took it for a 10min spin and return 3hrs later with smoke pouring from the engine and brakes. my mate tim did that with a 4motion on a test drive from a VW dealer.
