Anyone got an Audi A3?

Thinking of getting the needles out of these to go with my DDI dials... first off do they light up a nice red or more of an orage red? and are the needles long enough, or too long to fit in the corrado gauges?

 

Seen some for sale on ebay and thought they might work... :?:
