Couple of quick part number requests ...

Could someone kindly tell me the part number for a dipstick guide tube and the plastic sleeve on a VR?

 

Oh, and the part number for a VR sump gasket - and is it worth changing anything else while the sump is off eg the bolts?

Anyone know how much a sump is? Just wondering if it's worth replacing that as well if it's cheap enough .... ?

Hm.. not exactly bombarded with replies there Tom. I'll see if I can find ETKA and stick it on my PC and look for the part numbers.. don't know prices though i'm afraid bud.

Sump gasket appears to be: 021 103 609 or 021 103 609 B

Tube for dipstick: 021 115 629 C or 021 115 629 E

 

What that difference in letters at the end means, I have no idea?! :)

The ones that Jim has mentioned do show up on Ekta, but when you click on them it says that the part number is not recognised.

 

Plus the guy that's very kindly sorting the parts for me says that his local VW can't find the part either.

Can you not just tell the chap at the dealers what parts you want and he looks them up?? thats what i always do, they always get there eventually :)
