Sorry i should have said is cost me an extra £200 to get the door cards fully retrimmed as there was quite a bit buggering about to get the leather to sit correctly.

theres a few retrimmers in the north east - the first that springs to mind is in grangetown, sunderland on ryhope road. there was also some nissan staff that worked in trimming used to do govvy jobs to a high standard - i'll ask around.

The Grangetown is called 'Kish' but although he's won many awards for trimming for high end hi-fi installs to many show cars of various description, he's not quick and he's always full of work but he's reputed as being the best , but this all comes at a cost and is prob one of the dearest!

There's Northumbrian Leather in Heaton, a miserable old sod but they do a good job.

There's a small industrial estate part way down the bank on the left but can't remember details of address but go past Sounds Alarming and across the Byker bridge then turn right at the roundabout down the bank i mentioned and it's the first little ind. est. on the left, they are plenty cheaper and do the taxi seats and make and repair leather suites.

If you want an ols school guy that should be retired but knows everything about retrimming then your man is half way up the A167 from chester-le-street to Durham on the right at the back of the Fina petrol station, think it's fina but may be wrong, he's your cheapest but he's 112 yr old but can do it with his eyes closed.

HTH

Chris
