purpleVR6 0 Posted June 21, 2005 Hi all - can you help me identify my wheel bolts? Blackberry VR6 - was bought with 17" BSA 10 spokes - look great! Problem has occurred now I need to replace some damaged wheel bolts - long story .... don't ask! Bolts have 8 sided heads (17mm AF) and a special socket to fit them... a great security feature. I just can't track down any replacements. Has anyone come across thsi type of bolt? Where can I get them from? Hope picky also helps Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
h100vw 0 Posted June 21, 2005 No picture mate. I'd have a look at someone like Elites website. If they are 8 point then it might be easier to replace the damged ones with some new locking bolts. Gavin EDIT 2 pages of locking wheel bolts on ebay makes sure you get the right ones. Either the straight taper or possibly the VW rounded taper.
