Shilakadaddy 0 Posted June 22, 2005 Can anyone recommend a track day where you don't use your own car? Basically we're trying to organise something like this for my mates stag do. We live near croft so that seemed like the obvious choice... looking at their website they offer 2 different packages that sound like the type of thing we're looking for, but I was hoping someone with first hand experience could offer a review as to whether they're worth it or not? "The Racing Experience" sounds like it would be good but I'm not sure on the fine details of this. THE RACING EXPERIENCE Course Duration 2hrs and 30mins (approx) Following a briefing on race craft, car control and safety on the Circuit you get the opportunity of driving your chosen car around the 2.12 mile International Track. Your Instructor shows you the correct lines after which you drive the car for two sessions. The Instructor completes your time on the track by taking you for the ride of your life on a high speed demonstration. The course concludes with a debrief before your departure. Course Prices : Ginetta G20 - £155.00 Mini Cooper S - £175.00 Porsche 944 Turbo - £195.00 After instruction do we race each other? how long is 2 sessions? etc... I'll phone Croft and ask for more information, but in the mean time does anyone have any other suggestions as to what we could do? different venues etc?
