A9X SJ 0 Posted June 23, 2005 Ok Im looking a set of rims @ the moment which are the following 9 x 16 & ET 25 I was wondering If I can run this all round  The car will soon be on coilvers Car = Vw Corrado 16v
mrbeige 0 Posted June 23, 2005 I've got 9 x 16 Borbets ET15. The rim is less than 10mm from touching the rear axle, so I wouldn't think that ET25 would fit :?
benkenobi57 0 Posted June 23, 2005 what is the optimum size for alloys 16" 17"??? so that u dont end up with rubbing or loads of road noise or loss of fuel econimy??
Jim 2 Posted June 23, 2005 17's for looks.. 15's for cheaper tyres, ride comfort and handling.. 16's as a good trade off between the two :) IMHO anyway ;)

A9X SJ 0 Posted June 23, 2005 16" it is then cheers  Tyres seem to cost more for 16's :?
NickVR6 0 Posted June 23, 2005 Prob because they are less common nowadays. Everyone buys 17s, me included. And i have to say my ride quality is rubbish now..and thats on std suspension!!
Jim 2 Posted June 23, 2005 Shameless pic of my old G60 on the 16's.. I think certain cars take huge wheels well (MK4 Golf for example!) but the Corrado definately looks better on something sensible. I think 16's work just right on the Corrado..
