Dietrich Rear Bumper

Hi,

 

Has anyone ever fitted one of these to a C :D Because ive just bought the RS2 rear bumper and the fixings look really pathetic :(

 

There are two thin fibreglass strips that i assume you attach the bumper supports from the OE bumper to. But they dont seem to be strong enough to hold it on the car :roll:

 

Any one have any tips or am I just looking at this from the wrong angle :lol:

what about the metal peice that sits in the oe bumper wheres that supposed to go?

i bought a rs deitrich bumper for my mk1 golf awhile ago and it was a absouletly shite mould i reinforced those mounting brackets with a metal strip which i fiberglassed in and the bumper sat really bad and i had to slowly sand the bumper edges till it sat properly. i hope urs is better!
