Chris VR6nos 0 Posted July 12, 2005 Hiko, there are 2 main reasons why i think it had you: Firstly the steering wheel is on the wrong side Secondly you needed one of the Vortech charger kits that i posted up for the group buy! Seriously, good effort and you did well. Have you still got the 11:1C/R JE pistons in that engine? Chris

Seriously, good effort and you did well. Have you still got the 11:1C/R JE pistons in that engine? Chris :-) I just moved the steering wheel to the other side. Oh well back it goes again..:-) I like the idea of a naturally aspirated engine. Had a tuned and humongously lagged rs2 which was x times as fast on the straights but only after it woke up at 4k rpms. Not really my cup of tea. SC is ofcourse a bit different but with the 11:1 cr Je pistons and 268 schrick cams it won't work very well. The valve on the vsr/vgi vwm intake was kaput so I lost out on top end power. Still wouldn't have caught the audi big boys with 350-450hp.. Street tyres ( measly 205/40/17) with 33-35c temperatures don't mix well either..
