gavkt 0 Posted July 21, 2005 A couple of days ago my leccy windows stopped working. I didn’t have any time to sort it myself so I took the car to an auto electrician. He told me that a clip had broken inside the door that connected the central locking to the handle or something. He gave me the broken clip (which still had the part number on it) and told me that he’d patched it up and that I will need to fit a new one. Unfortunately now my central locking doesn’t work. So with the part number I called VW and ordered a new one. It cost me a tidy some of 46 pence. But I have no idea where or how to fit it. Can anyone help? I have attached a picture of the clip. Spykee 0 Posted August 11, 2005 that just looks like a clip that holds hte central locking piping and electrical cables out of hte way of hte window glass as it runs into the door. wouldnt have thought that would do anything mate, just had my door card off this evening and seen a load of them on the inside of the door itself but they only hold stuff out of the way Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
