G60 lack of power

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Ive asked for help about a few things on here before and here is another.

I read the "G60 loss of power" post on here just now.

I have lost a bit of power too poor acceleration. The car juddered like bounces forward when my foot isnt on the pedal like im in too higher gear for my speed like when im in traffic. BUT IM NOT IN A TOO HIGHER GEAR and it can rock the car quite alot. Now ive noticed it happens when im in 3rd or 4th gear when im travelling at around 30-40. when i change gear too the car seems to drop quite alot of revs. Any ideas? ive had it on a rolling road and it came back normal. I think its an engine management problem but dont know what exactly?

Hope that made sense and someone can help.

Thanks

Do you mean the bouncing problem or the acceleration, or both?

Glad to hear im not the only one. Is it a G60 performance characteristic? im getting a pulley and a chip off of some one from the forum hope that improves it.

Cheers for the reply
