Louie Lungbubble 0 Posted August 11, 2005 Watched Sundays Top Gear on tape last night. Was it an areodynamic thing, or just an air intake which grew out of the top of the Lambo Hammond was ragging round in?
Andy665 0 Posted August 11, 2005 That was the air intakes, can be operated on the switch or leave it do it its thing automatically. The European car with the active front spoiler also had a removable briefcase in the dashboard - anyone remember the car???

Spykee 0 Posted August 11, 2005 right then cars with active spoilers...... lemme think chrysler crossfire, Mitsi 3000GT/GTO, McLaren Merc SLR, various prosche's, Toyota Supra (all been mentioned) there is also the Golf R32 but thats not a 90's car.......... so i rekon its gotta be the McLaren F1 that has the active spoilers and a briefcase in the dash! ;)
HiAsAKite 0 Posted August 11, 2005 briefcase in the dash?... Must be something like a Bentley or roller...

ZippyVR6 0 Posted August 19, 2005 Come on Andy, this one needs to be answered. What is it?? PLEEEEESE :D
Andy665 0 Posted August 20, 2005 Forgot all about this. Twas the Alfa 90, one of the most forgotten cars of the 90's - with good reason. Based on 75 floorpan with the 12V 2.5 V6, was intended to be the luxurious alternative to the 75, no Alfa styling "quirks", just big and boxy but did come complete with the aforementioned briefcase in dashboard, automatically extending front chi spoiler and horrible digital dashboard - I was offered one for free a few years ago and still didn't tkae it - more due to lack of space than anything
