Cars with "Active Aerodynamics"

That was the air intakes, can be operated on the switch or leave it do it its thing automatically.

 

The European car with the active front spoiler also had a removable briefcase in the dashboard - anyone remember the car???

right then cars with active spoilers...... lemme think

 

chrysler crossfire, Mitsi 3000GT/GTO, McLaren Merc SLR, various prosche's, Toyota Supra (all been mentioned) there is also the Golf R32 but thats not a 90's car..........

 

so i rekon its gotta be the McLaren F1 that has the active spoilers and a briefcase in the dash! ;)

Nope, the V6 is generally recognised as being the best V6 ever produced in its later developments

 

 

alfa SZ by any chance..........not sure of its briefcase or active spoilers tho :oops:

Forgot all about this. Twas the Alfa 90, one of the most forgotten cars of the 90's - with good reason. Based on 75 floorpan with the 12V 2.5 V6, was intended to be the luxurious alternative to the 75, no Alfa styling "quirks", just big and boxy but did come complete with the aforementioned briefcase in dashboard, automatically extending front chi spoiler and horrible digital dashboard - I was offered one for free a few years ago and still didn't tkae it - more due to lack of space than anything
