Eyebrow spoilers.....

For those of you that have them..............what have you used to secure it? tape? riveted it on? (if so riveted it to what? grille?)

On my mk2 I riveted them on and colour coded the rivets :)

double sided tape,,,u can get it from B&Q the strong thick stuff used for holing up fie extinguishers and stuff....

 

with rivits its a bit harder to take off when required

I think the mk2 has more bodywork, hidden by the bonnet, to be grafted on to.

 

The Corrado version has been discussed already though.

ive tried to use the double sided tape that holds number plates on (the good stuff) but cuz the way it bends there arent that many places for it to actually hold on to

use tiny self tappers, thats the way most of them are put on :)

and I keep removing it for a while every few months ;)

into light bezzels (surrounds) its the only way. I keep new bezzels if i ever take my off. :)

its a good idea to screw the spoilers on. i used the sealent that was supplied with my reiger one and lost the spoiler about two months later doin 1**mph in the outside lane of the M1.
