StormVR6 0 Posted August 18, 2005 Just a quicky, I had to put the fan belt back on my car today (luckily it come off and laid in the frame). Yesterday I was getting ridiculous temps and the air-con felt weak. It's a fiddly job on my car what with the Schrick in the way, but it's done. I think the metal frame the fans are fixed to is slightly warped, which is why the belt probably comes off now and again. So if anyone experiences high temps and the fans seem to go on for longer than usual, this is worth checking first. Obviously you will only have the motorised fan working on it's own, and that is not good! Oh yeah I also had a air lock in the coolant supply, so that didn't help matters :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
