samm_cvr6 0 Posted August 22, 2005 probably not the best to comment, there are so many factors involved but I would definitley say the golf is slightly better mpg? I much prefer the Ibiza 1.8T try and get a KO3S turbo one, think there w reg and on.
bcstudent 0 Posted August 22, 2005 On a run I get 40mpg in my mum's Seat Leon 1.8T; it does about 36mpg driving around locally. Obviously if you boot it everywhere it drops into the 20s. The Golf will probably be similar but I have no idea how that compares to a G60. I hear they're not the most frugal car ever built!
Jim 2 Posted August 22, 2005 You should definately see a few more MPG.. but it really is all dependent on your driving style, and the sorts of areas you have to drive in. The G60 is especially awful around town and in slow traffic simply because of the way supercharging works..
