sccrazyg60 0 Posted August 27, 2005 hey about a month ago i replace my whole cluster due to the fact my mfa and my odometer were not working. after installing the new used cluster with my buddy tim, everything seemed to work fine. driving today, i noticed that when i checked my mfa1 it read 99.9 mpg and i was like what hell. i check the rest of the things that it indicates and everything else seems to be fine. i also checked my mfa2 and the mpg for that one was 31.3 and i think that was pretty high too. i know i am not getting anywhere near that especially because of the lysholm. it seems like i am burning more gas than usual too and seem to be running rich, i can smell gas when i start up the car. i duno if that helps me figure out what i need to do if anything. so yah if anyone can tell me if i should be worried about this and/or if i can fix it let me know. i just think its kinda wierd to see 99.9 mpg. thanks in advanced. sccrazyg60 0 Posted August 27, 2005 i have hurd that when the vacumm pipe has dropped off you will get the 99.9 mpg reading. can anyone tell me how i can check if it is connect and where the pipe leads to?
h100vw 0 Posted August 27, 2005 The pipe goes from the back of the clocks to the engine bay. CAn't remember exactly where but it is a rigid nylon/plastic pipe. There aren't that many that come through the firewall. Gavin
64 SPLIT 0 Posted August 28, 2005 How do you flip between MFA1 and MFA2?! When I cycle through the items on my Rado it always says MFA1 - wondered why it said '1' when I don't seem to have a '2'?!
