Bigdunk 0 Posted September 11, 2005 hello folks just been told about this site and hope one of you guys has any experience of my problem basicaly i changed the cam belt on my g60 lined up all the timing marks and wound the engine over by hand with a spanner to make sure the internals were missing each other then with the plugs out i wound it over on the key to double check the internals then with plugs in its wont start ie nothing out of the dizzy after talking to an auto eletrician he reckons a stray spark has found an earth through the ecu whilst winding on the key relay with 80 on it is buzzing and the rev counter goes bananas ive just tryed an ecu off an 8v golf that has no vacuum take off and the number 80 relay stops buzzing and the rev counter stops going bananas does any one have any experience of this cause its got me foxed!!!!!!!!!! cheers d Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
