G60 0 Posted January 21, 2003 i might have finally found an '83 GTI that i can work with. i've been looking for a cheap one in decent shape for a while now. '83 was the first year that vw brought the GTI into north america. i don't know the exact numbers, but as i'm sure many of you know, rabbits weigh nothing. i think this car will be a perfect excuse to swap the corrado's G60... and replace it with a 2.1L 16v turbo.......... heh heh.. in about a year when i've had some more fun first. :twisted: i'm planning to strip the GTI down to nothing, put in a roll cage, custom dash (sheet metal) and see what kind of times i can get with it. i'm going to check it out this week.. my friend who does body at the vw audi dealership says its worth taking a good look at. needless to say i'm very excited. i'll be using this car as my daily driver :lol: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
