Engine Breather switch......???????

Ive seen this on ebay.....its down as a part for the raddo for the KR engine......Would anyne like to explain what exactly it is and am i right in saying its posistion next to the air filter housing.....?VW CORRADO 16V ENGINE BREATHER SWITCH * NEW VW PART*

It`s the vacuum switch to trigger overrun fuel cut isn`t it?
