anubis 0 Posted October 9, 2005 Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows for sure the position for the plug that seems to have come loose when I took the dash out? It's the brown plug that goes into a gold connection by the drivers door on a VR6......the only one that has a clip release thing on it, unlike the others. Not that I can remember, but it looks like it went into one of the 3 connections near the others, all beautifully pointed out on the picture below! Cheers :? RW1 0 Posted October 9, 2005 All solid brown wires are earths in VWs. The release clip suggests its has come off something in the dash. To be sure, the other end should go to earth somewhere else under the dash. There is more than one earth "star" under the dash, so suggest you trace the wire otherwise you may simply be connecting earth to earth!.
