hi guys

 

I running a few ideas in my head!!

 

1.8 16v engine

 

ported and polished head by tsr

ported and polished 52mm inlet

4 branch stainless exhaust manifold

full stainless exhaust

power rohr

k&n panel filter, drilled box

 

Its running nicelyy at present but anyone got any ideas how to increase it further or maximise what ive got??

 

ie

42 inlet???

exhaust cams???-whats the procedure for that is it easy??

anything else???

2L 9a, 6a or tall block ABF or ACE bottom end (2L 16v blocks from Passats, corrados, audis and seats) , for between 100 and 500 quid for the block you'll increase power and torque. Anything up to 200bhp is possible on the K-jet system from the KR(1.8 engine code), 160-180 on KR cams.

whats the mod with exhaust cams???

 

what engine code m i looking for in the 2l bottom end???should i get any work done on the bottom end??

 

is 42mm better or 52mm inlet???

like david said a 2l bottom end kr head port and polished ,42mm manifold and two exhaust cams, thats what you want then book a tune up with stealth.
