Induction kits

Recommended Posts

Further to the earlier questions regarding induction kits on 16v. Has anybody fitted a Stroeve - (unique) induction kit? What results were acheived, and how does it compare to DIY hole drilling?

hello sniff

well personally and the proven choice is the carefull drilling of holes on the wing side of the airbox and the removal of the snorkle.

the stroeve is a good idea but it will suck in alot of hot air meaning ull have less power unless u build a heatshield to go there

I've just looked at the step by step airbox drilling instructions at http://www.kf010a4571.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ (Suggested by Fat Tony)

It seems straight forward, however there is no mention how the engine will adjust petrol/air mixture after increasing the airflow? Would you uprate the airflow meter, or ECU? There is only so much room for combustion! ???? Confused! :?

well u wont need to change the fuel as on corrado it has a shit fuel system that works by, air open up a flap and the more the flap is opened the more fuel runs through the nozzles. Also know as mechanical injection.

I see you live in london, if your around on sunday pop up to royal park for 1pm or on tuesday at ACE cafe at 7pm and ill be there and talk you though a few things
