Sorry for being a bit ignorant when it comes to the stuff undr the bonnet but can someone tell me how i can identify and clean my ISV? If anyone has a pic that would help :oops:

For what car ?? This is the 16v ISV

 

You can clean it by leaving it (off the car :wink: ) in petrol for a few hours but ive been told that carb cleaner is to abrasive and can do more damage.

Yeah, disconnect the black tubes from it, disconnect the electical connector then just push it through the holding ring.
