old man 0 Posted November 15, 2005 Can somebody confirm that the 2 sensors around the oil pump are white and black on a 1990 1.8 16v, as they have been changed due to the buzzer and flashing lights going off, problem is the light still flashes, this was done at a garage and I reckon the one nearest the block should be brown and it`s not the pump as the engine would be dead by now. vr6dom 0 Posted November 16, 2005 Hopefully a valver owner will confirm, but I think you have one BLACK sensor (1.4 bar, yellow wire) and one BROWN (0.3 bar, blue/black wire).
