Willwood 4 Pot Callipers ...????????????

Right these are for sale on the fourm and i maybe buying them on friday night.

 

The super light willwood brakes same size as G60 280mm

 

Speaking to a few people, they say with out changing the size of the dics i will not impove my braking even though going from 1-4 pot. I dont have abs so with the extra power they will lock at higher speeds...??

 

Also i am told the brake fade will not change either as the heat and material exchanged in to the dics will not change as they are the same size........??

 

Can any one tell me wether I should get these.....???

If the pad area is larger then it will improve your braking as you will have a larger pad to disc contact patch.

 

Also because of the larger contact patch the pads should stay cooler so brake fade should be reduced, as long as you are using good pads and fluid.
