capnahab 0 Posted August 17, 2003 Just bought a 3 slat grill for my corrado. Went to fit it and the notches on the bottom and the top are in completley different places, but it is definatley a corrado grill. I take it theres probably two different kinds of fitment? I've got a g reg 1990 1.8 16v
W3RKD 0 Posted August 17, 2003 yes you are right most of the aftermarket grills and also the 3 slat one are for the 92> cars wich have a differn't slam panel on them people do modify the grills to fit these earlier cars though im sure someone who has done this mod will soon be here to answer you and tell you how to do it... craigbeal 0 Posted August 17, 2003 Heres a pic of my grill. Had 2 cut off all the plastic notches off and then black cable-tied the grill on. You can only see the cable ties if you look really hard but you wouldnt even notice unless you knew they where there. Was going to drill some holes on the back part of the grill and cable-tie threw the holes but you cant really get your hand behind the grill without any fuss and removing the radiator so didnt bother. capnahab 0 Posted August 28, 2003 botched it on, and fitts better than the original, and you cant see the zip ties because the slats on the grill cover them. exellent
