My MK2 in Winter boots

My motor with its new steel winter wheels(what my wife drives every day), after i spent a few hours with the polish and wax, pics are not that good but are the best my phone could do.

 

mmmm shiny...

 

The other Red golf is my mates 300bhp 18T monster....mmmm scary...

reminds me of my mk2 16v .. i did like that car :(

 

i've been after a set of those steels for ages now and keep missing them on e38 been driving me mad......

Thanks mate, I am surprised just how good they look, I was going to spray them a sort of anthracite/gun metal gray colour but I think they look cool just as they are.

 

My mate motor is indeed wearing Turini’s, his motor is the nuts very well put together with all the right bits, pure function.

biggerbigneil, No sorry mate, I am actually thinking about putting it into retirement soon, once I find an MX5 for the misses to drive.

 

I am the second owner on it since new, I kind of like it more than my C VR6, will post some interior/engine pic’s soon, all standard but very clean.
