Lanceevox 0 Posted January 11, 2006 I have bought a pair of decent speakers for the back of my rado. I can't figure out how to install them or take out the old ones. Any hints or diagrams would be greatly appreciated. ALSO I have another questions about distortion: I installed some 100 watt speakers in the front door panels and ever since I did this the sound distorts. I have a pretty old cd changer deck and was wondering if the distortion is because the header (cd deck) does not put out enough power. OR maby I just fked up the wiring? Crispo 0 Posted January 12, 2006 I'm assuming you mean 6 x 4 speakers to replace the originals. If you look underneath the speakers there are two screws per side - remove these and speaker holder including grill and be removed. Then see if your new ones fit in the holders - some have larger magnets and you'll have to think about trimming the plastic mountings although some people caution that this can weaken supports and lead to vibrations.
