selbekk 0 Posted January 26, 2006 okay, so my speedometer has taken on a part time job these days. Let's say... 70 percent of the time I start it up, (cold or warm, as long as I stop the engine) the speedometer doesn't work at all. I thought at first it was the speedo-cable (I got an '89 model, so only one display and no fun), but the odometer still counts even when the speedo doesn't. Any ideas? catch_twotwo 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Mine does this as well..... have you tried flicking the front plastic to see if it springs into life. This usually solves it for me and puts it on my "things to fix as and when" list instead of the "OMG fix it now" list.... Mine started doing that after I fiddled about removing my spoiler control unit. So maybe it's a loose wire or a bad conenction somewhere behind the dash causing this.
